Suzanne Mallare Acton Artistic Fund

Rackham Symphony Choir knows that great art organizations are led by great leaders. And in honor and gratitude to their artistic leader, the organization established the Suzanne Mallare Acton Artistic Fund in 2007.

The Fund fulfills Maestra Acton’s ongoing commitment to youth, education and community. Reports Board President Bud Uhl, “The fund is be used in part for promising young singers, to foster their musical growth through studies and opportunities to work and perform with professionals. Additionally, funds will be targeted for projects that resonate with the social and cultural issues prevalent in our neighborhoods today.”

In the 2008-09 the Fund supported two students enrolled in the High School Vocal Internship Program.
