THE ARMED MAN: A CONCERT FOR PEACE DVD

The Armed Man: A Concert for Peace featuring the original film The Armed Boy

The live concert DVD is now available!

The Armed Man: A Concert for Peace captures the Rackham Symphony Choir’s extraordinary live performance of Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace. The performance is accompanied by a simultaneous projection of The Armed Boy, an original film written and directed by Robert Cucuzza and commissioned specifically to accompany Jenkins’ moving oratorio.

The film explores the timely issues of bullying, aggression, violence and war through the eyes of a middle-school boy. Cucuzza’s screenplay brings to life a universally accessible story reflecting the timeless themes of the tragedy of war and the eternal hope for peace.
